Privacy and account information

Account records
Accounts store a username, email, display name, password hash, verification state, role and creation date. Passwords are hashed rather than stored in readable form. Sign-in and account changes create limited security audit records. Rate limits use hashed identifiers.
Membership and payments
The server stores membership expiry and payment references needed to verify an upgrade. Checkout takes place at the payment provider. Card or wallet passwords are not collected by this website. The learning membership does not include AI usage. Separate AI plans provide a limited allowance through this site and do not include another provider’s chat account.
Learning data
Existing code drafts and completion records are saved in your browser. Plus members can explicitly sync completed lesson identifiers and save private learning notes to their account. Code drafts and diagnostic reports are not uploaded by cloud progress sync.
AI conversations and credits
The separate AI workspace is for adults aged 18+. After your consent, chat text and recent conversation are sent to the selected OpenAI or Google API for token counting and answers. Provider retention and processing follow their terms. Do not send confidential information. We do not save your input prompts in our account database. Answers can be replayed for up to 24 hours for duplicate-request protection. Expired answer text is cleared on subsequent AI API requests, so stored text can remain longer if no cleanup request occurs. Credit balances, request fingerprints, model names, token counts, payment references, timestamps and consent records are retained for billing and abuse prevention. Provider keys are stored privately on the server and are never included in public pages or API responses. AI conversation text remains in page memory and clears when you start a new chat or close/reload the page. AI API responses are not cached by the installable app.
Diagnostic reports
The report viewer processes imported reports in memory on your device. Refresh or clear the report to discard it from the page. Do not put hardware reports or recovery keys into cloud learning notes.
Cookies and external resources
A secure, HTTP-only session cookie supports sign-in. The installable app caches public site resources. Account API responses are excluded from offline caching. External videos, documentation and AI providers follow their own privacy policies when you open or load them.
Account controls
You can update your display name, change your password, sign out and recover access by email. Contact support for an account export or deletion request; identity must be verified before account information is disclosed or removed.
