Understand the access type.
A free tier has limits. Open weights let you download a model under its licence; hardware and hosting still have costs. Paid APIs charge for usage. A provider’s app subscription does not automatically include its API.

General-purpose AI, advanced models and AGI
General-purpose models can support several tasks, such as writing, coding and working with images. Advanced reasoning models may spend more computation on a problem. AGI is a research concept about broad general intelligence, not a verified feature or subscription offered by this academy.
This directory covers major families and task types. For additional releases, scientific models, document analysis and emerging tasks, explore the Hugging Face task directory and each provider’s current catalogue.
