GENIUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS — WINDOWS REPAIR WORKBENCH Development release · 11 October 2026 GET STARTED Extract the entire archive on the affected Windows PC. Review GeniusDiagnostics.cs, RepairTools.cs and scan.ps1. Open GeniusDiagnostics.exe if permitted by your Windows security policy. This is an unsigned .NET Framework 4.x / Windows PowerShell application. Do not bypass Windows or antivirus security warnings. A publicly trusted signed build requires a code-signing certificate and release validation. 1. Scan & report: collect a read-only snapshot; save JSON. 2. Open https://gendigisolutions.com/diagnostics.html and import the JSON for explained findings. Import is local to the browser; no report is uploaded. 3. Open Repair tools & retest in the desktop application. Select the matching tool; read its scope, effects, command and official guide. 4. Review & start asks for your approval. Administrator tools also request Windows UAC. Only fixed catalog commands run. Settings tools open Windows controls for a separate owner-selected action. 5. Read the actual output and exit code. Some tools take a long time. The app does not automatically restart the computer. It stays open while a tool runs. 6. Repeat the original failing task, then Rescan this PC. A successful command exit does not prove the original problem is solved. Compare the reports from the same physical PC; intermittent faults need further tests. 12 TOOLS Windows image ScanHealth — diagnostic; no repair. Windows files — DISM RestoreHealth, then SFC only after DISM succeeds. DNS resolver cache flush — clears local DNS cache, not network settings. Winsock catalog reset — changes networking; may affect VPN software; needs manual restart. Avoid during remote support. Print Spooler restart — temporarily interrupts printing; does not delete queued jobs. Defender quick scan — diagnostic malware scan; review Protection history. Another antivirus or policy may block it. Installed-app settings — user-selected Repair where supported; Reset can remove app data. No automatic reset. Windows Update settings — user-selected updates, separate from opening the page. Storage settings — owner review of files and cleanup; no automatic deletion. Device Manager — inspect exact device errors; no automatic driver changes. Startup settings — inspect startup apps; no automatic disabling. Reliability history — inspect crash clues, not a proven hardware verdict. LOCAL LOGS AND PRIVACY Action output stays under %LOCALAPPDATA%\GeniusDigitalSolutions\RepairLogs. Save action log copies the last available result to your chosen file. Logs can include local paths, device information and error text emitted by Windows tools: review before sharing. Logs are not automatically uploaded. Diagnostic JSON excludes passwords, serial numbers, personal files, IP addresses and event-log messages. Official guide buttons open the browser. DISM and Defender may contact Microsoft's services as part of their normal operation. HARDWARE AND COVERAGE Works on the computer running the app, not another computer connected by an ordinary USB cable. Windows 10/11-compatible commands are provided; exact Windows editions, organizational policies, security products and hardware require validation. Non-booting PCs need official recovery environments. Physical battery, board, port, cooling and storage faults need qualified diagnostics. Protect data before repairing a failing disk. No formatting, partition repair, firmware flashing, account bypass or universal automatic repair is implemented. BUILD Use the .NET Framework compiler with /target:winexe, System.Windows.Forms.dll and System.Drawing.dll. Compile GeniusDiagnostics.cs plus RepairTools.cs and embed scan.ps1 as resource name scan.ps1. Build.cmd contains the exact command. --scan output.json collects only the diagnostic report. --self-test checks the fixed tool catalog without executing actions. --preview image.png renders the toolbox UI without executing actions. VALIDATION Compilation, catalog self-test and rendered UI are checked. Repair executors require controlled test PCs and actual fault scenarios before production claims. No repair was executed on the user's computer during development. Unsigned development release; not a commercially validated universal repair suite. Choose the brand and reported symptom. 20 brand groups: Dell/Alienware, HP/OMEN, Lenovo, ASUS/ROG, Acer/Predator, MSI, Microsoft Surface, Samsung, LG, Razer, GIGABYTE/AORUS, Dynabook/Toshiba, Fujitsu, Framework, Huawei, HONOR, Panasonic TOUGHBOOK, Apple Mac, System76, and Custom/other brands. Each tab includes 19 symptom workflows: power, POST, startup, crashes, performance, storage, memory, thermal, battery, display, input, network, USB/Bluetooth/dock, audio/camera, printing, applications, updates, security and firmware. Windows brands share relevant Windows procedures. Manufacturer diagnostics and service manuals are linked externally and must match the exact model. Brand-specific OEM tools are not integrated executors. Choosing a tab does not detect or connect to a device. For applicable running-Windows symptoms, select a suggested tool and Review selected Windows tool. This opens the existing tool page; Review & start still requires explicit confirmation. For hardware and non-booting faults, use the supported model-specific procedure and protect data. Apple/macOS and System76/Linux tabs are external guidance only. This Windows app does not run on macOS/Linux or execute their repairs. Windows commands are not offered within those tabs. Unlisted brands use Custom/other brands and the actual component manufacturers. Coverage is not exhaustive and is not an authorized-service affiliation or a guarantee of diagnosing every fault. The JSON catalog is embedded as brand-guides.json. Build.cmd now also compiles BrandGuides.cs with System.Web.Extensions.dll. --brand-ui-test checks 20 × 19 desktop guide/control states without executing repairs. TECHNICIAN EVIDENCE UPDATE The scan now collects WHEA event metadata (7 days), memory-test history (30 days) and supported storage reliability counters. It does not run a new RAM test or infer a failed motherboard. Save technician report exports a readable evidence handoff with symptom, approval, OEM code, confirmed fault, repair and retest fields. Review before sharing. System-file repair requires a scan and blocks provider-reported critical disk health. Spooler repair verifies Running status. Commercial deployment still requires signed distribution, supported Windows/model acceptance testing, recovery testing and an operational support process; this build is not certified commercially ready.
